Position Description
This news editor will assist the bureau chief and deputy bureau chief in the daily copy flow from the Washington bureau. The news editor will be involved in daily copy editing and on occasion rewrite that requires appropriate writing skills. The editor will also interact closely with the New York news desk.
Position Requirements
Strong news judgement, editing skills and ability to multitask. Ability to work quickly and accurately as well as meet deadlines.
Candidate must have good communication skills and work well as part of a team.
